This company will get you fired they are not for the people thats why Im going to call ****** and ****** (AKA) Lawyer because they are for the people, I have called numerous times talk to NUMEROUS people and I can NEVER talk to my Case Manager, its always somebody else Im going on 2 weeks and still no change for the days thats incorrect in the system. My Manager is on me because I have points accumulated and the 8 days that are incorrect in the system, so that means I have 8 points on my attendance that puts me over my limit... read more

I would give them 0 stars if I could! My first day out of works was 9/21. I have exhausted all of my sick time. The only time I have available now is my vacation. My representative ******* has not called me one time. I was taken off work for 4 weeks due to my illness. I received a letter stating the claim is closed. Terrible company, wldoesnt work with the claimant at all, time lines are outrageously long, going weeks without any compensation, days without any answers. And even longer wait times for them to process an electronic form which should be able to process within minutes. They delay payments, ignore requests, and are just downright rude and unprofessional. Dropping this company ASAP, do yourself a favor and just avoid these scam artists

Soulless and inhumane. Everyone I have dealt with constantly lies through their teeth. They are vexatious with paperwork, lying about losing it or assailing physicians with repeats of repeats. The absolute insanity in trying to claim clinically proven POTS and narcolepsy, amongst other conditions, aren't truly "disabling" is mind boggling. Has anyone gotten a settlement offer on a *** claim? If so, did you take or continue to receive what you were receiving? And if you didn't take it, have they upped the amount that their willing to give you?

Dealing with NY life is a nightmare! They have no empathy, its all about getting through their day as quick as possible. My std were approved for a couple of months, after that it was denied. They said not enough reason to continue. Even all the cat scan, X-ray and other documentation were provided. If it wasnt enough information, why was it approved for 2 months? NY Life is the worst company I have ever dealt with! The customer service is astounding on how unhelpful they are. I have been on a medical leave for a Transplant since June, and it has been a fight and constant call ins to figure out why I am not being paid since being approved, customer support agents don't know what happening. I chose them for a long term disability company. Everything was fine when they were taking my money. It was time to file a claim and they kept requesting more records and badgering my doctors. They didnt seem to understand some complex medical language and couldnt grasp what the doctors report was saying. Denied after 4 months of waiting. They also lie about not receiving paperwork.
