My mortgage was sold to this shady company, which by the way I had no say in. I have emailed and called 2 times for the same issue beginning in Feb 2019. They have not paid my real estate property tax that was due on December 5, 2018. It is now March 26, 2019 and it's still not paid. They keep telling me it will be taken care of, but nothing to date. My mortgage was transferred to Newezz and they have been HORRIBLE. They didn’t pay my homeowners insurance resulting in it being cancelled. Everyone I talked to had a different story or excuse. My monthly mortgage payment went up 220 dollars a month with no explanation. I could go on and on. I can’t understand how a company that is such an important part of our lives and finances can be this careless with no regard to how it effects us. How do you sleep at night? This company is actually very scary. The way they do business is shady and their customer service is nonexistent. If you do get someone on the phone they just say they will get it addressed and don’t follow up. Then you call back and see nothing has been done. For months I have been trying to get my issue resolved after my loan was sold to this company. They should be shut down!

I called and sent several emails to NEWREZ for what I felt was unnecessary NSF charges that were the result of their computers not accepting my payments. Although for the last 6 months their computers accepted them with no problems. All I received from them is that the charges were valid. No further explanation of why they were not accepted. Nor even the possibility that it may be their error. The worst mortgage company I have ever had to deal with. They tell you two more weeks for paper to process it three months later still no resolution. How can you treat customers like this! If there was zero stars that what they are worth one is one to many.

I reached out to NewRez to discuss my account with someone. Unable to get a representative on the phone due to abnormally long hold times (longer than 15 minutes), I left a message (to hold my place in line), and never heard back from anyone. I then decided to send a secure message through the message portal in the my account portion of the website. I sent messages on the following days: 2/27/19, 3/6/19, and 3/11/19. This is the sorriest mortgage lender I have ever had to deal with.!! They made an error in my escrow account summary.....a huge mistake!! It more than doubled my monthly payment.....3 months later and numerous phone calls, they have done nothing to correct the issue!!! They have done nothing but lie.....time and time again !! I am currently borrowing money from another lender so I can get rid of them !!@ They're ridiculous !!

Newrez doesn't deserve the 1 star, but couldn't post without a rating. My mortgage was recently acquired by NewRez (2/19/19). I electronically sent my payment to them through my banking institution (Chase). on 2/22/19. After days of not seeing this payment applied, i contacted NewRez. I was told to wait due to the loan being new to them. So, I did. However, my payment was never credited. The payment was due on 3/1/19. Thus, on 2/28/19 I contacted Chase bank.
