New Penn in Strongsville Ohio is an awesome branch of New Penn! Anna Miller is without a doubt the best mortgage agent you could ever find. She found a 13,000 dollar lien on my property that was owned by a company that went out of business and I figured that was the end of any chance I would have to refi my home, but anna wouldn't quit she searched for a new owner of the lien and when nun could be found she came up with a title company that had the lien removed and I just completed my refi and saved over 200 a month on my mo... read more

I was seeking a refinance with New Penn Financial and got the biggest run around ever. I was dealing with Nicholas H**** and he wasted 6 weeks of my time with his c***. I lead me to believe that I would be able to refinance with him. I gave him everything he asked for. He pulled my credit several times. I would call him and he stop answering the phone. He never told me if I was approved or disapproved. Just a big run around. Then weeks later I get a letter in the mail saying that my application is incomplete and asking for d... read more

Dealing with this company has been nothing but hell, first they held my insurance claim check for months and I had to pay for everything out of pocket from a leak and now they are not helping Hurricane victims. This is classless and I am refinancing my loan just get away from this company because they have only caused my family and I hell. I would give zero starts if possible, trust me if you have this company everything will be ok until something goes wrong, if you can go with a different lender I suggest that to save the h... read more

8/22/17 I Cannot say enough about New Penn Financial in Alpharetta, Ga!! Once I decided what type of loan I wanted, James C***** and his team worked quickly and we were closed in less than a month. James was professional, but yet friendly and personable. He seemed to really care about helping us meet our goal and gave us advice on what he thought would help us reach it. It was a great experience!!

I had a great experience with New Penn Financial. We started the Refinance process in the middle of June and closed 21 days later! Communication was great and I now have a 15 year low interest rate mortgage! I was skeptical when I read reviews on this web page but as my broker stated that it was in his best interest to get the refinance finished because it puts bread on his table as well. 4 days after we started the paperwork and a house appraiser was knocking on our door to evaluate our property. They were fast and efficien... read more

If you want to close your loan, stay away from this lender, except you have a well known great underwriter to work with. The underwrite worked on my case is Gina M*****i which screwed up finally. This is what I got from her. 1. One week after I submitted all the documents she needed, I was told given my residential status I'm not eligible for the current loan program C 2. The advice was to switch to loan program F which I should quality. Well, I agreed to switch as I did not have choice. 3. The underwriter kept asking all di... read more

New Penn Financial dba Shellpoint Mortgage Servicing has thus far lived up to all the negative reviews I have read on various sites. My loan was sold to CVF iii Mortgage Trust in March 2017. Servicing transfer was announced 4/15/17 with effective date 5/1. ACH authorization was mailed to Shellpoint 4/17/17 to facilitate the payment due 5/1. 5/3 customer service advised loan was not set up on system ( 10 business days) and if the received the ACH document it would have been DESTROYED because the loan is not on the system. Ema... read more
