Horrible horibble I will be writing my congressman or someone this is the worst costumer service ever. I had been emailing u people can’t even do one simple job. Don’t ask me to email u look at your emails complaints ridiculous. Trying to refi my home been waiting for ever to get my payoff amount to be send out followed all the rules and still no one knows nothing request 6 emails and nothing all I’ll fax it over. This piece of **** company just took 2 payments for our mortgage out on the same day. Said it was a glitch in their phone system. My wife has been on the phone for 2 days trying to get them to resolve this mess. Conveniently no one seems to be able to help us. Avoid doing business with this joke of a company at all costs! They will take your money quick but can't seem to figure out how to get it back!

I've had nothing but issues since my loan has been transferred to Newrez. They are a company that preys on their clients by charging fees in any way they possibly can. The first month with them I went to pay my mortgage on the automated phone system, the only way not to be charged a fee to pay for mortgage, and accidentally entered my account number wrong. I must've hit the 1 in my account number exactly when it was starting to ask me to verify so did not hear this prompt. I noticed the payment was not withdrawn about a week... read more

Horrible customer service. Spoke with a Lawyer named Jessica who sided with her employee instead of fixing a problem caused by her Employee. I will be refinancing my home just to get rid of the terrible company that my mortgage was transferred to. I would leave no stars but not allowed so that’s why the get a one star. Liars and deceiving business practices.

Hello, My name is Beth A** A***** and I recently re-financed with New Rez. My lender was Dennis ******* out of PA. I have left 3 voicemails for the lender Dennis ********* boss Mark R********** (sp?) Mark is at extension *****. I also called on 2-19-19 to speak to someone about my experience with Dennis. The man who answered my call was very polite and professional and promised me that he would take my concerns to management. I've yet to hear from anyone! I am an angry veteran. NewRez is incompetent and possibly purposefully mis-applying payments to make money off of late payments. My mortgage was recently transferred to NewRez/ NewPenn 12/2008. We make our payments bi-werkly from our own bank accounts. NewRez took upon themselves to apply one of our payments to the principle only, causing my account to be late. Do whatever you can to NOT use the company. they are not responsible. our loan transferred to NewPenn and they changed their name to NewRez. They then did not pay our house insurance on time, even though they had taken the money each month to do so. They sent a nasty letter saying they were going to get insurance to cover them - even though they had our money to make the payment. Look up incompetence in the dictionary and Newrez should be the definition. It’s been weeks trying to get a hold of a supervisor, won’t happen. Tried to set up biweekly auto-payments, I wasn’t advised that I needed to make a payment. Months went by without them saying anything until I noticed and I had to make two months payments plus half of next months for the auto pay. I've contacted them four times now to just modify my checking account number for autopay and it's still not resolved. This is ridiculous. This functionality should be available on the website with no need for customer service.
