I wish that I had read the reviews of this company BEFORE I bought the PRE-PAID CARD! SO far nothing but a hassle! You can FORGET about speaking to anyone in the USA as the customer service is farmed out to the Philippines. Stay away from this company!!!!

Will not allow access to my account. Will not allow me to activate cards received as tax rebates. Charges a fee for non-use of account. Essentially a fraudulent scheme to extort regular people. They don't allow access to your money, then charge you for not accessing your money.

May 3rd, 2018 Yesterday I received my Netspend Business card. I called to activate the card as my account had been locked. Apparently, Netspend Business and vpn services are not compatible. Because I had used vpn while logging into my Netspend account, my account was locked. It is almost a certainty that Netspend as company uses vpn for security purposes. Terrible! They charge for EVERYTHING. Got this card as a Christmas present. Charged $5.95 every month for "account maintenance" plus $1.00 for every transaction! Even. 50 to call and verify the balance! The card had $200 loaded onto it. Yet somehow they allow you to go negative, i figured once it was gone it would stop working. What a scam! How they are still able to operate is beyond me!

This company should never be allowed to send out a card to anyone that never applied for it. It is a bad business practice & should be stopped immediately.

I've been with NetSpend says I was like 20 I'm now 35 I'm not understanding the How am I'm not getting all my money when there's an ongoing investigation they say they will give you your temporary credit within 7 to 10 business days and to take up to 45 days I receive my $1,700 but not my 2040 I'm not understanding why it's not like NetSpend pay me this money I work hard for my money just was a refund from the IRS that was stolen from me I'm not getting this I will grade NetSpend a f they just want to keep people money for s... read more

On February 24, 2018 at 12:33pm I attempted to purchase a money order for the amount of $1190.03 for my rent. The transaction did not go through and the cashier advised me to scan my NetSpend card one more time. At 12:34pm another transaction of $1190.03 was declined at the supermarket for the money order. I left the supermarket with no money orders as the transactions wouldn't go through even though I had the money on my card. I have been with netspend for a year and a half I have always been getting my pay on wednesday and it is now thursday and I still haven't received my pay. They advertise 2 day advance and they fail to honor that this is FALSE advertisement, I will be seeking legal help on this matter as I will have accounts go into the neg due to auto pay with no money. once this is all over I will close my account and will advise others to follow.
