This company deserves a NEGATIVE review based on their horrible call center representatives and they blatant disrespect for their card members and our time. I had an issue on the account, called and spoke to a rep and was assured it would be handled. Have had to call back 10 times on the original issue. Requested a manager and was put on hold for literally an hour. The manager placed me on hold and then disconnected the call. I called right back and was hung up on 3 times IN A ROW!! I have reported this company to the better business bureau because they have let some steal over $800 from me. The fact that they would let a loyal customer walk away and they refusing to help them because the customer didn’t report theft in time their allowed time frame is beyond me it doesnt matter if it was the day week or month later the point is it was stolen. I’ve had this card since 2015. One of my main complaints is when you call customer service. First, the agents all have heavy accents and they are often quite difficult to understand. I find myself repeatedly asking them to repeat themselves and even then I’m not sure if I have understood them. Second, I get the run around and when I’ve had an issue that takes several phone calls I get a different answer from each agent I talk to so now I don’t ever believe what they’re telling me at all!! This company does not know how to securely manage their data. I received a marketing advertisement from NetSpend Prepaid Debit Services to my parents house (which I have not lived at for 7-10 years) under my maiden name (which I have not had for 6-7 years). I would not have signed up to get their card under this dated information, so I can only assume they got this outdated data from a third party source. DO NOT USE! I cannot get a refund for $500.00 on my prepaid card. I really thought these worked like gift cards. I do not give out my SS# anymore due to hacking and identity theft. I was given a list of alternative identity entities. I gave these people my Drivers License,Vehicle Registration,a letter from my utility company, and a bank statement. They still insisted on my SS#. I will NOT Recommend this card to anyone and I will NEVER again use them myself. I CAN'T SPEND $7 ON THIS CARD WHEN I HAVE $5, YET AN UNAUTHORIZED PURCHASE OF $49.99 WAS ALLOWED WHEN THE BALANCE WAS LESS THAN $5... It's been two weeks with No Resolution. On Dec 27, 2018, I tried paying my restaurant tab with my Netspend prepaid card, only to have it declined (which was unusual as i had more than $800 loaded onto the card. After being embarrassed in front of friends, I paid cash for the restaurant tab. I’ve been waiting to access my funds since Friday. They won’t let me go buy a card and have it transferred. I’ve waited on hold for hours for them to tell me that they can expedite a card that will come after the initial card. What sense does that make. I would like to access MY funds today since they have been there since friday

I have been on the phone with a variety of customer service agents trying to get an issue resolved. My card has been on hold with two of my payroll checks for a week and half. The funds are frozen and every time I speak with an agent they assure me a rep will call back to resolve. It has been two days and I cannot speak with a supervisor or access my funds. There is no direct line to supervisor or anyone that can assist me with getting access to my funds.
