Netspend Kept my money locked for over 6 weeks I lost my job because of it. Failure to even try to help me is the complaint. I'm very dissatisfied in the way their management handled the situation.

Netspend had Synina R******** and Oscar S***** who were Customer Experience Analysts. I provided them with documentation showing I was incarcerated, not in possession of the card and there was a restraining/ no contact order in effect with the ex girlfriend who used the card. We are not married, no joint bank accounts, she is not an authorized user on the account, and our relationship was ended the day I was arrested and the restraining/ no contact/ order of protection was put into effect and any previously rites, authoritie... read more

No stars, I purchased a card so that I could use it to make online purchases. While setting it up the lady told me I needed to send documents in to the verification dept but it was closed at the time. So I waited and called on my day off and they told me I could not use it online that they had set it up as a gift card and that they couldn’t do anything. So I had to use the money I already put on the card in store only and not for the purpose I bought it for. Very inconvenient and stupid

About ten years ago I got a NetSpend debit card in the mail. I never activated it. We'll fast forward to 2019, I go to activate my NetSpend debit card. And said since I never activated my first one. They no longer want my business. We'll I never asked for the first NetSpend card. You just sent it. What a very very Shady company!

I was supposed to get paid on Friday my job released my funds via direct deposit Wednesday. However netspend spend is saying my money isn't in my account and my employer didn't deposit my money in my account which is not correct because I have proof. No one is trying to fix the issue it is now a day after pay day and no money. My next step is to call a lawyer my job takes money out of my check every pay day for legal advice and services so if I don't get my money that would be my next step

ZERO STARS..My 11 year old son did not apply for this card. This is illegal. Lawsuit waiting to happen.

I've had netspend for 4 years and not had may problems, until I accidently made a double payment. Called next day to dispute the charge. Had one disputed as other one was for my bill. Well they didn't give much info so when they disputed the charge it was the one for my bill not the second one. So I called my bill provider and they cancelled both of the charges and I disputed the next one So both charges would be returned. On Friday, March 8, 2019, I purchased a NetSpend Visa prepaid debit card and loaded $50. I did this at a reputable check cashing store. As I went through the steps to activate it online, a message appeared on my screen, "something went wrong, call customer service during business hours." (M-F). When Monday comes, I actually received a call from them, a NetSpend customer service center (overseas, I believe) where a woman very politely told me that I am ineligible for an account with them.
