Our almost 20k unit was installed 9 years ago and has had problems since day one. We were told it was the top of the line and received a hard sell. Unfortunately, we listened to Service Experts; they've taken advantage of us ever since. Originally, they refused to admit it was a lemon. Now they agree that it is a lemon, but say it's too late and they won't help us. They suggested we install a new unit from them. The plan they want to put is on is $250+ for the next 10 years. They've misrepresented themselves at every turn.

I rarely write a bad review, and I assure you that nothing here is exaggerated. Please just take this as a word to the wise. Service Experts (Fort Myers FL) are not in the business of service. They are in the business of high pressure sales. Air went out on a Sunday night, called and was told someone would come out that night. Nobody showed up until Monday. Two guys (a salesman and a tech) came together and they said I needed a new ac which I expected because the unit was 18 years old. The sales guy gave me 3 options (tiers) first was more like what I had but I opted to go up one tier for the energy efficiency. He made me believe these :"membership" options were my only choices. I've been with this company for over 7 years now! I've thought they'll show some type of concern for me and my family knowing the weather in Florida! But me and my family have been out of air for four days now! I was told by one of there works on Sunday night by (James) one of there technicians that it'll be fixed on Monday now it's Wednesday night and my Air Conditioning unit isn't fixed yet! A horrible experience over a week with the plumbing area. On 8/15, they came to tighten our kitchen faucet. Young man came our, tightened it and was very polite and said he was not going to charge us. Later that night when we went to clean up the kitchen, water was pouring out from underneath the sink.
