I sent in a my sunglasses for repair. They claimed they would send a new pair, though required a $30.00 payment. I paid the amount and waiting for my new pair. It has been over 3 weeks, 6 phone calls and still I have not received my glasses. A supervisor promised on 2 separate occasions they would ship them overnight, and still nothing. RecommendedWarranties work!! I had a side grip come off my sunglasses arm and shipped them back per warranty instructions and today...presto! Fresh sunnies have arrived! Love this brand and my glasses.
I have been using Native Eyewear exclusively for over 5 years and I don't see myself changing brands. Ever. I have always found them to be very comfortable and they do an amazing job holding up to the elements. I run, hike, compete in endurance horseback rides among many other outdoor activities, and Natives are the only Sunglasses that I trust to do the job. I bought my first pair in 2007 and absolutely loved them. around 2009 the broke, I did not take advantage of the warranty but did buy another pair. The second pair I wore the nose pieces off and the laminate from the lenses. So I finally decided to send them in, they have been discontinued and are being replaced with my choice of glasses no questions asked, just the warranty fee. Native for sure has made a customer for life.
I'll start by saying that I've used and loved native for years. They have been the only sunglasses that I have bought in the past 6-7 years. The negative review is in relation to customer service. I bought a pair of Bolder Sunglasses and within the week the nose guard on one side fell off. This makes wearing them very uncomfortable. I contacted native and the response was a link to nose guards that I needed to buy. I'm fairly disappointed that I have to spend more money so soon after purchasing sunglasses from them.
