I suffer from primary progressive multiple sclerosis. I am bedridden and have chronic depression. On Monday night I was suicidal I called an ambulance to get me to the hospital. I explained to the doctor that I was feeling like taking my life and he looked at me and said,“You’re not gonna kill yourself.”I was completely shocked and dumbfounded. It's been 5 hours and have yet to see a doctor. I understand that there are trauma situation that arise and have to be delt with first. But that is why there are RN and CNA that can do bed side care while the doctor tends to more cridical patient. But to leave someone in excruciating pain and not even check on them for over an hour is not ok. I am being an advocate for a friend of mine. I am absolutely discussed with how this place is treating patients.
RecommendedMy mom came here for physical therapy after she suffered a stroke on August 23rd I took her to AV hospital from there she was immediately flown to Los Robles Hospital then sent here, me and my family are greatly appreciated for everything the staff at ARU did for her to help her get better and we’re blessed to have her return home in such a short time she had a successful and speedy recovery thank you all 🙏 and thank you all for the prayers as well God bless 🙏
Monday had Hip replacement from start to finish Great the way I was treated but big shout out to Orthro Spine Rehab Nurses Lead Nurse felt like Family had a blast with them Good people they took care of me Thank You so much was in G14 Again Thank You
The ER wait times are excessive. Preliminary testing is done quickly then comes the waiting. And more waiting. The staff seems helpful. But I don't understand why it takes so long. Likely understaffed??
I want to Thank the Nurses on the Joint and Spine floor!! I was in room G10. This was my 1st surgery and they took excellent care of me. They were very attentive, made sure there was nothing I needed and kept my needs met.
What a joke 5 hours later we left without seeing the doctor my daughter will suffer over night but we will wait only minutes to see a doctor at Kaiser Urgent Care in the morning. The employees have absolutely no urgency when it comes to Patient Care .it's sad you guys make AV hospital look like they really have their s*** together I didn't think anybody could do that!
