I don't know why every rental car company doesn't offer a service like the Emerald Aisle. I love picking out my car. I found a loaded Chrysler 300C in the mix. Great car, easy in and out. I will only rent from National from now on!

Great selection and service, but I was disappointed with the taxes and fees that are added on, nearly 40% was added on to my bill. I don't rent too many vehicles so maybe all places are like this now, but be sure to check the taxes and fees when renting from National, my $51 rate turned out to be in the high $90's per day

Had reservation, rent several cars per week. My company just switched to them and I wish we could go back to Hertz. Never had to call every time I rent to get BS charges removed.

I have been a National customer for many years and had a recent horrible experience at LAX. We waited in a congested and hot, exhaust filled shuttle zone at LAX where we were instructed to wait for the shuttle to the rental lot. A shuttle never came yet all other rental car shuttles did. I had to walk down to hertz to ask them if they knew where the national shuttle was and they said that they were filling up so fast that they had to exit the terminal before making it down to pick us up. I have been using National Car Rental for a while and I love the service and I love that I am able to choose my car and I don't have to go inside and I never get charged for rental + miles like other companies. I think it is fair for customer to pay for rental car and pay miles on top of rental. Prices are very fair and cars are always clean and newer with fewer miles..

We made a reservation for an infant carrier with our rental and called in advance to confirm one would be available. Yet when we arrived, we were told there weren't any on the premises. This is a problem because 1) National is putting children's lives in danger by not fulfilling their agreements 2) they made no attempt to notify me when it was clear they knew they had no car seats 3) Instead of sending someone out to buy or arrange to secure an additional car seat, the associate I spoke with suggested we drive to Walmart ill... read more

I am a huge National fan and think they usually do an amazing job. Getting your care with Emerald Club is a snap and you always have a great selection. The one thing to know about Des Moines, however, is it is one of those small locations without an Emerald Club row so you can't just pick up your car. Therefore, getting in very late at night (after midnight because there had been storms) I was very disappointed with having to wait in a long line to get a car, even though I was Emerald Club. This was a very stressful, last minute business trip. Myself and two colleagues arrived at 5:30pm and needed three cars. The great folks at this location took care of us immediately. Both pick up and return were flawless. Major kudos the entire staff at the O'Hare National location.

I have been a REPEAT customer to this National Car Rental location. There are many other places to choose, but this company gets it. Fast service, good selection of cars and the big bus from the airport. I have not had a bad experience here yet!
