I'm an Executive Elite and I fly into DTW every other week or so and I always use National. The staff here are very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. New construction has completed for return vehicles and a new area for arrivals at the Emerald Isle and Executive Isle offers shelter from the elements and I am grateful for this especially this coming winter. They always have a great selection of vehicles and are always clean. I highly recommend National and DTW.

I have rented several cars from this location. I have never received a vehicle that was clean, exterior or interior. Chicken nuggets under the seat a few weeks ago, a straw on the passenger seat last week. The inside of the windshield was so dirty I had to stop at a gas station and clean it with a wet rag. My gas tank was between 3/4 & full when it was supposed to be full. They did credit my account for the fuel. I am a regular renter from National. The Emerald Club makes the rental process very easy, as soon as I got off the shuttle, I selected my car from a variety available at Detroit Airport, a short stop at the Exit gate and I was on my way. Return was also very quick, shuttle took me immediately to the terminal. Car was almost brand new, clean. I highly recommend National at DTW Airport.

Good news was we got a complimentary upgrade. Bad news was there were no cars available when we got to the lot. A short 30 minute wait at midnight and we got a Caravan straight from the car wash! First time we have ever had a problem with National, so that won't deter us in the future!!

The only place I will rent are car from. The staff are the best. Joanee, Orlando, Gary just to name a few are really professional and attentive to my needs. Great job guys!

I rented from National based on its JP Power rating. The best I can say is that it was adequate and I am not sure that one of the companies that had a lower rating and cost less would have been any worse. Specifically, I was thrilled that the car did not smell like cigarette smoke when I picked it up but within a few days is smelled like urine and I ended up buying air fresheners to try to cover the smell.
