Emerald Club is so easy and available at this location. Bus drivers were very pleasant and helpful. I will use them again at this location with out any doubt.
Vehicle upgrade was nice but the cleanliness of the vehicle was horrible. I am not sure how much effort is put into cleaning these vehicles both on the inside and the outside. Seems that dirty towels were used as there was a smoky film all over the interior surfaces. The interior was black and therefore dirt is easily visible. The exterior was also black and was really dirty.
I love the fact that I was able to get dropped off by the bus at the pick up lane and just go and pick my own car and leave. Super convenient!! I always use National Rental cars when I travel. Car was clean and in very nice condition.
I had an accident with my rental car and the process to get a new car was fairly quick and painless.
I travel frequently, National is always my preferred car rental service. They always have cars available, and they are clean and nice. I am a happy and loyal customer. Detroit staff was helpful and available, made it quick and easy to pick up and to drop off. Great experience, as always.
I am a frequent traveler, and I must say, the National people at Detroit were just outstanding. They offered water when we arrived and helped us with our bags when we returned the vehicle. The car we used was also very good. Kudo's to the Detroit National team.
Great service. I was using the Emerald Club service the first time. Was able to pick up a car and go without having to wait in line. How sweet is that ?. Further on the return, I was severely late for my flight and the local employee of his own accord volunteered to drop me at the airport instead of having to wait for the shuttle. I was indeed blown away by the customer care. Thanks for a memorable experience.

The car and service were great, but there was one problem that plagued me all week. The key set was huge. It was a steel wire permanently crimped together that contained not only too very large electronic keys and a Plastic National key ring badge, but the two valet keys were pulled out from the main keys and because there were on the steel wire, they could not be put away.
