I arrived late at night and close to the booth closing but the attendant took care of my reservation and changed it to fit my needs. I love the location and ease of pickup and return at the Syracuse Airport.

It was an "ok" experience. I was hoping to get in and get out.. if you're in a hurry this may not be the service you need. I was very happy with my reservation, but the woman at the counter painted this frightening picture of the WEATHER!!!! She said the luxury vehicle I got was "only a sedan", and "not the car to drive to the coast". The weather was not crazy in the least bit. If you want to push for an upgrade please don't use fear. And stop telling me I "won't find that deal anywhere else".

I HAVE BEEN USING NATIONAL RENTAL CARS FOR MORE THAN 15 YEARS AND NEVER HAD ANY COMPLAINTS. BUSINESS OR LEISURE, NATIONAL IS THE BEST.

Everything was great until I got to the exit. I reserved a 15 passenger van and got an email saying go straight to the back and bypass the counter to get your van the guys in the back got it for me, when I got to the exit they say you need to go to the counter even though the email said bypassed the counter since I'm an emerald member. So I had to back up the van with my managers and go back inside to get the paperwork and leave. Very disappointed email the right info.

If you rent from this location give yourself an extra 30 minutes to catch a shuttle or be returned to the airport. Four full shuttle buses went by before I was able to squeeze into a shuttle to get to the renal car location. The return was worse. There was a crowd waiting for a bus. There was a 10-15 minute wait for shuttles to come to the pickup location.

They really moved through several customers fairly quickly and with friendly attitudes. It did seem that since this was an airport facility and everyone had reserved a car that they could have planned better to have additional staff. No fault to the team that was there.

This is the only rental company I will rent from in Knoxville, TN. Might I add, there are at least 4 rental companies (2 of which are Enterprise) between my house and the airport, however the customer services is always top notch. Most of the time, I end up dealing with Dustin at the National Car Rental booth due to the hours I stop in; and he always greets with a smile and friendly conversation.
