I'm a long time customer with National and have always been happy with their service. A few weeks ago they took customer service to a new level. They found a jacket I had left in the rental car (with keys in the pocket) and mailed it to my home. The lost article page on their website was very easy to use and I could not have been happier with the customer service rep that helped me. Thanks National!

This experience was ok, however, I did request a toll pass and thought it was given to me, but it wasn't and I passed through 3 tolls. When I got the invoice, the toll pass wasn't listed on th invoice, but that excuse the fact that I asked the attendeant for one and it wasn't given to me. I even have an audio recording where I asked for it. Good grief.

First time using National at O'Hare there were no cars available even though we reserved one - had to wait in long line for cars to be brought into the lot. Second time, there were just a few cars so we ended up with one with massive amounts of dried mud on the driver's side floor.

Typically the selection is great, but Detroit was almost out of many cars. The selection was slim, but we still got a vehicle that was suitable. The service is always great. This, in my opinion, is the best car rental company and a great value!! :)

Just arrived at Cleveland after reserving a Elantra over the web. No Elantras on hand, so got to pick my choice of any triple upgrade - great! - especially when combined with the special promo I had. People and cars were perfect, in fact I got a $10 additional credit when returning the car as I mentioned the gas tank (gauge) was noticeably more full after my filling it, than it was when I got it.

I've been an Emerald Club member for ~10 years now, and this rental was one of my worst experiences. Although I had a reservation, there was nothing but minivans available in the Emerald Club aisle. I was finally brought a low end Hyundai, but not the quality of vehicle or the service I was expecting.
