I took the shuttle to the rental car building with a herd of people and was expecting a lengthy wait after seeing lines and travelers everywhere. The National agent had no line and directed me straight to the garage where my Tahoe was pulled up close for us. The process was shockingly easy and fast. Seriously. National gets me in and out so quickly and the employees I have interacted with are always pleasant and professional. I use National every time I can.
RecommendedAlthough I'm an Emerald Club member, because I added a new credit card to the app I had to go to the counter. Having said that, there was no wait (although it was nearly midnight) and the transaction was fast. And I appreciated the fact that I wasn't badgered to buy extra insurance, a bigger car, a GPS, pre-paid gas, dust ruffle, etc., etc.
My go to rental! Have been traveling for work and leisure for over 40 years and find National the best overall. They actually care about their customers!

Used the 'Emerald Aisle' option on my trip to Boston and couldn't be happier. Paid for a mid-size but got a Jeep Grand Cherokee instead. The car was clean and ran without any problems. Check-in and out was seamless. Also, instead of just trying to up sell us the transponder option, the attendant asked about our travels and advised that it wasn't a necessary option for us. The only problem will be getting my kids back in our Nissan Sentra. :)
