I'm actually in a Hertz car right now just because it was cheaper in Denver but the National car was a ton better. Great experience in Dallas with you pick and go. All very easy and car was well equipped for my technology needs with USB ports and Apple CarPlay.
I was a bit disappointed when trying to rent a car for overnight at DFW on 6/28/17 and there were no cars available. Checked for that date starting 2 weeks out. So had to use another car rental company. As i walked by your Emerald Isle to pick up my other car, I was surprised to see so many cars there, but none when I was checking on line. On my return flight into DFW, National had a car for me. I have always been pleased with my choices. I have never had to wait for a car. I will continue to use National Car Rental.
I booked my vehicle through chase ultimate rewards web site and paid in full for my rental car there. When I showed up in the national car rental I asked if I was eligible for a free upgrade, since I have an Executive status with them. I received a positive reply, so I was very surprised when National charged me $766 2 days after I returned the vehicle!!! I have been a customer for many years. I have never been disappointed in the level of customer service or the quality of cars they provide.
Has to be the worst reward program on the "Planet". If I rent for 14 days it counts as one rental, the worst!!
I have been to DFW numerous times. My last trip was a 20 minute wait as they were out of cars. Flight delays or late returns was the reason the manager gave us all as we waited in line. I felt they kept us informed and as a regular traveler I expect problems beyond the control of the local team. How they handle the problems is what counts and the team at DFW did their best. I have no complaints. Frustrating but again it takes airlines and people to make it all happen as it should.
I was able to get in and out fast, and made my flight with no problem. I love how National does business!
I travel 40 to 45 weeks a year, National is my rental car provider. DFW is usually an easy in and out, Emerald makes it so easy, but to many gas gussler dodge SUV type vehicles. My only complaint is the outrageous add on fees at DFW, facility, transportation, fuel surcharges, really? I'm paying a surcharge on fuel I purchased? What is up with that? The car selection at DFW in the Emerald Aisle was pathetic. Hyundais and Kias. Please. My car could barely accelerate out of traffic.
