Customer Service doesn't apply here. As previously stated they will not advise you of additional charges until after the fact. 2 they charged me for 2 exams ( only did 1 mind you) . My son and myself had the same exact procedures done , his was 10.00 mine was 130.00. I paid it and took it up with my insurance company..they are even perplexed. I called back , talked to Julie and her Manager only to be told that I needed to call my Insurance company for an explanation..complete dead end. Just beware that this establishment wil... read more

Heads up to anyone who is hearing impaired during the Covid-19 pandemic. The 5th Street Station branch in Charlottesville does not have and are not willing to obtain face shields or clear masks so that deaf/hard of hearing customers can lip read. They recommend you go to a hospital clinic. This is not acceptable.

So took them over a month and half to make my glasses and they never called back when they said they would. Multiple goof ups like sending it to lab that didn’t make my prescription strength and finally they sent it ... to wrong address

Took my 7 year old daughter to pick up and get adjusted with her new glasses. this is her first time needing to wear glasses. we had to wait a week for an appointment. when we get there, we call the # on the door as it says to do. they say they'll be out. a giy comes to the door but holds it open with his foot and proceeds to put the glasses on my daughter. I was baffled. he says wait a second, goes back in, leaves us standing outside in 90° heat, comes back out again, holds the door with his foot and puts them on her again ... read more

First of all if you do go here, insist that you know what the upfront charges will be regardless of your insurance. When I made the appointment I asked and was told that I would be charged according to my insurance. Not true. I was charged $135 over what my insurance was at the time. When I went to order contacts I was told my insurance had already been used ($120 for a trial pair of contacts). After getting that straightened out, I was told 5-7 days to get them. I brought my son in today for his first eye appointment. Luckily, he did not need glasses but I still had to pay a 20 dollar co-pay. I was not informed on the phone at anytime that I would have to pay a 20 dollar co pay. What if i didnt have 20 dollars on me? Luckily, I did, but it was the last 20 dollars I had to my name, until my next pay. Had I known there was a copay, I wouldve just rescheduled his appointment until i had enough money.I am extremely upset with this service and am even considering taking my son somewhere ... read more

ZERO Quality Control error on 2 pairs of glasses the prescription was entered incorrectly in the system would take a person 1 minute to review before sending. Please update your website because no one is getting their glasses within 7-10 days.

Terrible. Spring Mills Location in Martinsburg WV. Waited over an hour for doctor, no apologies whatsoever. Glasses that were supposed to be in with 7-10 days are still not in after 4 weeks apparently but I wouldn’t really know because they never answer the phone or return messages.

Poor leadership from the manager of the middleburg office. incompetent staff ordering the wrong glasses. Still waiting on on return call for an appointment, of which I have left 6 messages and received no return call. 7.21.20, 7.22.20. And both of the original appointments were screwed up.
