Pearl Maddox started Mrs. Maddox Cake Shop in 1928. Her son, Jack Still, took over the bakery in Detroit, along with his wife, Marian, and daughters, Susan, Marian and Sharon. In 1973, he hired Tim Shaberly as a dishwasher and to take deliveries. Tim continued to work as a baker for Sue and Marian when they took over the bakery. I want to say a huge Thank You for making my baby sisters baby shower ansolutely beautiful. She was so thrilled and thought it was absolutely gorgeous. She made her event even more special with the detail of the cake and more importantly it was Delicious. Thanks a Million!
The Pumpkin Cheesecake is beyond words!!! Very impressed that it was as equally delicious, as my mother in laws homemade pumpkin cheesecake. Everything we have ever tried(cheesecakes, cakes, paczkis), has been very good! Also, the staff are very friendly. :)
