Pearl Maddox started Mrs. Maddox Cake Shop in 1928. Her son, Jack Still, took over the bakery in Detroit, along with his wife, Marian, and daughters, Susan, Marian and Sharon. In 1973, he hired Tim Shaberly as a dishwasher and to take deliveries. Tim continued to work as a baker for Sue and Marian when they took over the bakery. Had a cake done for our grooms cake. It was a chinook helicopter. It was amazing!!
Taste and appearance of cake was great. I'm just unhappy that I was called a couple days before my wedding and was told they don't do an Oreo cake batter, when I was made a special Oreo cake batter and frosting cupcake at my cake tasting. Also paid extra for the "special batter", but was still told they don't make Oreo batter..was really looking forward to that cake on my wedding day and didn't get what I paid for.
The absolute best cakes around! They are perfect for every occasion: birthday, wedding, graduation, they are the best!
Picked up my son's mindcraft cake today it was awesome!! He loved it and so did his friends and it was so delicious!! 10 stars from me !!!
