I had a leaky shower, so I scheduled an appointment with Mr. Rooter of Williamsburg and they sent their technician over. He diagnosed the problem as a failed valve inside the handle assembly, and he quoted me $397. I should have declined and shopped around, but this has been a persistent problem and I just wanted it to go away. The job took about 30 minutes, but they still charged the full price.
