They are a great company I am well satisfied with the work they did I would recomend them to my friends
I will not use again. I believe I was overcharged for all work that was performed. My insurance company did not pay for much and by me signing, I had to pay charges. I advise everyone that is going to use Mr. Rooter, read the fine print when they get the mitigation company at your house with forms to sign. They talk really fast. Just be careful and read every word before you sign. They lost a very good customer. I used to have them do a lot of work, but it ended with my last experience on 07/21/23.
If I could, I would have given zero stars. Tried to pressure me into getting an external access laid for 7k.. called a different company who instantly knew what plumbing company was at my house and fixed the issue for $170. Coming to find out that this is their scheme. Sending someone junior to the house, that person finds another issue that he cant fix so h*** call his supervisor who then proceeds to tell you that you need work done in the thousands.. never again!
In Sept. 2020, Mr Rooter added a 200 feet field lines for $6000 with a 3 yr warranty. Last month, the guy who takes care of my lawn noticed water & wet areas where they dug. I called their office right away to send someone to look at the problem. I have called numerous times leaving messages to their receptionist to please have someone call me. Please do not use Mr Rooter of Columbus or their restoration company.My husband and I are seniors and my husband is taking cancer treatment . They took advantage of our age and situation.Our septic system backed up and went in our garage and lower floor. They blew out the backup in garage pipe but told us we needed to pull up all pipes in lower level plus floor and walls in family room, stated they needed to replace all the pipes. Told us that they could find a leak on 1000 ft water line then after less than an hour said he would call another company who did come out over a week later and found and dug a hole that showed the leak. 2 days later (Friday) he (Mr Rooter serviceman)came back and said he would be back on Monday or Tuesday at a cost of 3500.00. We can only service customers based upon our schedule. We can't bump other customers who are having similar problems and we do not require our techs to give up their weekends if they are not on call. They work super hard as it is. Our techs also use shovels every single day. We are happy you were able to resolve the issue at a price that was better for you. I have an outside faucet repair referal from Neighborly.com & got Mr. rooter. The service was done in 15mins and was charge for $933.12 on top of $59.00 prior to coming out. The price qouted before was $99.21 and the $59 as dispatch fee so I signed it. To my surprise the price was jack up. The retail value of woodworth faucet is less than $50. We had this company out to fix a backed up kitchen sink. The two things he tired, new garbage disposal and hydro cleaning the lines, didnt fix the problem. He can back with a help and they removed the ceiling from where the lines come in. They said it would require much more work and at a much higher charge than was quoted.
