Their technician came out to repair and replace 2 outside spigots. The bill was over $1600. While he was there he fell off of the step ladder and broke a basement window and damaged a faucet. He neglected to inform the office about this. I called and sent photos. I was told they would get back to me. It's been almost two weeks and I haven't heard back from them yet.

DO NOT RECOMMEND WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY My call was regarding a gurgling sound in kitchen-laundry room sink when the dishwasher/washing machine drain. Sounded like a clog inside the pipes. Called Mr. Rooter to set up appt to check it out as they were the only ones that Would come out to the country. They immediately went down the path that it's septic tank related. Not once did they go into the house to look or test out the sound to hear it for themselves. Instead, they gave a long verbal description of why it's septic tank... read more
In December of 2021, I called Mr. Rooter (out of Rochester) about clearing a kitchen drain that occasionally required plunging to clear and often made noises. The tech came, gave me a $1500 quote for redoing the kitchen drain with a local vent, reworking the A/C drain connection, increasing the size of the plastic drain pipe to the main connection, and clearing the drain. A few hours later, the work was done, except the tech claimed he hadn't done much of the "rooter" part of what I'd called to have done and sold me a $90 bo... read more
I had an emergency for a sump repair, Mr Rooter came out, over charged on repair, pump at most w/have been no more than $300, I was charged $947 for replacing pump. Company w/not give itemized break down on costs. Had no option than to pay it so finished basement w/not flood. The repairman was good it was there overbilling & not giving a statement on costs. When they called back explained that to them, wanted to know if I had other estimates. I had been panning water since 2 AM with a bad back, how would I have other estimat... read more
a pipe on our kitchen sink broke. so we called Sunshine Plumbers of Tampa, which rerouted our call to Mr. Rooter of Tampa, instead. we told them we needed a broken pipe changed. the plumber, Brandon, came over and changed the pipe. he charged us $550. but immediately after he left, the bathroom sink, which always drained fine, suddenly gushed water all over the kitchen floor when we used it. my husband checked and said the plumber had dislodged a clog from the old pipe and it had dropped into the main drain. i called mr. roo... read more

Mr ********************** Plumbing just completed the replacement of a cast iron drain pipe in my basement. They did a beautiful job with professionalism, quality servicing, reasonable fees, and cleanliness, leaving my utility room impeccably clean. This is quite a feat considering they had to use a ********************* to break up the cement in order to remove the old cast iron pipe. I will be using Mr ********************** Plumbing for all my future plumbing needs, and recommend them to my family, neighbors, and friends.
I scheduled an appointment with Mr. Rooter to disconnect an old gas dryer. The individual making the appointment would not give me an estimate over the phone saying that there might be all kinds of problems with the dryer and giving an estimate could be misleading. That, of course, was a red flag, but we needed the service asap. The trip charge would be $59 and I would have to pay it prior to the service person's arrival - another red flag. Jordan arrived, spent 10 minutes writing on his I-pad and indicated that he would have... read more
I reached out to have my vent stack cleaned/cleared. They came out and quoted a price to do so, and proceeded to not address the vent stack, waste time in their van doing nothing and suggest progressively more elaborate services that were non-related to my request. The issue I called them for was not addressed at all and I had to pay for the guy to sit in his van for an hour talking to his 'supervisor'. Terrible and unprofessional experience that wasted my time and money.
