Called for cleaning my sewer line. Would not provide a price in advance. Upon arrival, they told me the only way to clear the line was with a hydro blast type cleaning (without trying a standard method) at $750. Reluctantly I agreed, only to be told after 10 minutes of attempting to clear the line, that I needed $7000 in repairs. They presented me an estimate, with a 30% discount IF I signed immediately.Of course I did not. However they still charged me $750 for clearing the line! (Later, after complaining about the charge t... read more

The sewage line from my house backed up and I called Mr. ****** to come unclog it. They did a fine job of clearing the pipes so we could use our plumbing again. The plumber from Mr. ****** had also threaded a camera on a ********** the pipes. He did not show me images in the camera or printed images but e planned Thant the old piles were pressed down - in bad condition and needing replacement. They could do this for &****, he said. I passed on the offer but the next day had another plumber use a camera cable and he showed me... read more

Patrick F. from Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Twin Cities came out on Sunday, Feb 12. We had a backup in the main line to the septic tank. Patrick fixed the problem, checked out the condition of the line to the septic and provided me with information on a potentially serious situation that he found. Patrick demonstrated knowledge and professionalism. I would be pleased to have him for my future plumbing problems and/or needs.

This company is the worst. I called them out to snake my toilets. The so-called plumber that showed up did not even look at the toilets. He started recommending things. He had two other guys join him, and they tried to tell me my basement needed to be dug up and the plumbing going to the outside needed to be replaced. They wanted to do a power flush-out (or whatever they call it). It was 'only' going to cost around $900. My husband told them to go ahead. They started in the basement, and when the water backflowed they stoppe... read more

I purchased a new hot water tank from Mr. Rooter and had them install it. I paid for them to pull a permit (~$225). A year later i was having issues with the tank and couldn't seem to find a settlement during the impasse. I went to my local city office to find out they never pulled the permit and the city was not happy about this. After visiting the Mr. Rooter office and meeting with a manager and bringing this to their attention, they immediately went and pulled the permit (a little over a year later). I'm still left with a... read more

We had a mess with a plumbing leak under our foundation caused by a tree in our front yard. Cole R***** and Jesus N**** showed up and they were a blessing. They were both very knowledgeable and skilled. They completely replaced my waterline to my house, excavated through my foundation and fixed the leak then refilled the hole with concrete and fixed 2 toilets and 2 sinks that weren't working because they were completely clogged up with red dirt and tree root. Not only did they complete this task, they charged me less than th... read more

We were charged $1,351.00 to replace two water valves to install a washer. The service man was here an hour, the parts cost $20.00 each at any hardware store. We feel like we were robbed. I would never recommend Mr. Rooter to anyone. We thought Jordan was kidding when he said it would be $1,000.00 He left our home without telling us wheat the bottom line of the cost would be. We called the office and asked for the receipt the next day and they finally sent out the receipt three days after the work was done. We nearly fainted... read more
