Once again it's Mr Rooter to the rescue! Huge job this time...front and back yard drains put in and new lower level pit and sump pump installed. The team worked regardless of the rain and did a wonderful job for us. This was not a 1 day job and they were here early every morning for 4 days until it was completed. I wanted to talk about our experience with our team today but it only gives me the option to speak about the field leader. Greg was at our residence to assist Eric for a short time but Eric is who we wanted to comment on. Eric showed up first and was the last to leave. We had called to get the control valve fixed on our water heater and made the appointment a week in advance. we got a call about 30 minutes before our time window saying no one was going to show up. mind you when we called we said we haven't had hot water for some time, whoever called us my mom explained to her again that we had no hot water and the person calling said oh that's not was told to me, so either your service reps don't listen to customers or they do a very poor job at relaying messages to your service people. Aaron and Mark were very professional, prompt and helpful. Did a good job of evaluating our problem.
Had to wait a long time for a tech to arrive to clean out a kitchen drain line (7:30pm, when we were told that a tech would be here between 2 to 4pm). The tech was nice, assessed the job, and did the work without making a mess. I would use the company and the tech again.
This review is not a 5 star because of the timeliness and poor communication on their part. I called the warranty company for our leaking water heater at 0800, 9/10/18 and was told that Mr Rooter would contact us within one business day. When I came back into town on the evening of 9/11, my husband said no one called. I called the warranty company at 0800, 9/12/18 and the supervisor had no idea why we weren't contacted and said he would call them and make sure someone from Mr Rooter would call us within 15 minutes. Very fast response and excellent plumber! Called at 9:30am for an appointment as soon as possible (we changed out a cartridge for a leaking shower head the night before, but couldn't get the bolt to stop flying off when we turned the water back on in the house - we had been without water since the evening before). Jay, the technician from Mr. Rooter, did a great job of fixing our slow draining bathtub. The receptionist, who was very polite and thoughtful, called to let me know that the technician was still working on another assignment and would be later than anticipated. They called again to notify me that he would arrive in about 10 - 15 minutes, and sure enough, he did! After assessing the problem, he gave me an estimate. Eric F. was the tech called to fix a .commode that wasn't getting water. We asked him to take a look at multiple location( problems) in the plumbing sylstems. He was knowledgeable, and personable, and did excellent work repairing the commode and numero us leaks, replacements, and replacing piping installed by others incorrectly. He brought in Supervisors to discuss with us on other pro blems caused by water backing up and welling around the foundation of our home, causing even more serious damage.
