I am a ten year experienced Service Manager working for this company almost two years now and am in shock at their whole corrupt/fraudulent based business tactics. I have witnessed theft, fraud lies and parts marked up x3. We even had a fellow team member die due to understaffing, crap equipment and lack of any upper management support. I brought my car in for a front wheel bearing replacement. About 2 days after I had it done, I started noticing a "shaking" coming from the same side again. It progressively became worse and started making a chirping noise. I had another mechanic look at it. He showed me how Monro had bent my hub assembly when changing the wheel bearing, and then actively tried to cover it up by adding what looks like washers, which temporarily hid the shaking (allowed it to drive straight). My vehicle started roughly and I got a check engine light that would not go out. Stopped by Monro Muffler in Hampton, NH to see if they could check the code and possibly turn it off. Manager said he only had 1 tech on duty. He tried to get me to leave the car for the day and he would do a diagnostic check. I asked him if there was a charge for the service. He verbally quoted me " $130.00 and I'll get an estimate for the repairs with the check up". I said "if there are any repairs needed right ?". He said "there are always re... read more

Had been going to Monro in Shillington PA for years. Had an issue 3 times with the same outcome. Booked an appointment and my car wasn’t ready until either 10 hours later or the next day. No call for an update. Was never told I had to wait for other customers ahead of me. Although the manager claimed he told me when he did not. Instigated me by laughing when I questioned him and I responded as an upset customer. Kept telling me “you don’t always get what you want” at which point I told him to let me pay and leave. Friend, helpful, honor's warranty. No complaints. I have had oil changed, and tire's bought, and brakes completed. Have had work done for over four years.
