Simply lacking customer service. Very rude staff. Spoken down upon instantly when coming in the door. So very disappointed and will be moving all of my accounts asap. I am certain they will be happy as they act as though I was bothering them. I was still respectful and kind even though they have no idea what these words mean.

Definitely do NOT recommend by any stretch of the imagination! I have had to deal with this institution because I co-signed an auto loan with my son who has since passed away. The gross and utter lack of class and proper training exhibited by Matt Langley is laughable. There are so many better options from banks which are hungry for business and customers.
They have lost their personal touch by selling out & going digital. They don’t care about people’s jobs & supporting the community that they are in. You go inside & no one is there so why wasted your time driving there on a Saturday bc they are all closed. You can’t even use a sister bank without being charged by MCU. even when the sister banks don’t charge. I’ve gotten my mortgage loan and 2 Vehicle loans from them and I have never been late once but I have been penalized for making a payment 24 hours early. Now I have to c... read more
We have had accounts with Missouri Credit Union since 2005. They've been adequate, though we've had to turn to other banks for loans because of the difficulty of MO CU. The customer service is exclusively remote and has been for some time, which makes all but the most basic banking impossible. Today I was working on my mortgage application with a more reliable institution we use for credit needs. Just don’t get gap insurance through them, they don’t cover the gap at all. They even make you pay for stains in the car. It should be criminal, frankly.

We went by the Smiley Lane location yesterday for my son to get a check cashed and to withdraw cash from his account and they have no customer service (video tellers) on Saturdays until further notice. We live in a small town and have a local bank with much better customer service, and yes, real live human customer service reps at the drive thru on Saturdays. MCU has certainly decreased in customer service the past couple of years.
