Couldn’t ask for a better place to receive such wonderful care!
Worse place to go if you have a child that has gotten hurt. My son cut his foot and I rushed him here for care they looked at it said they needed to clean it and put a bandage on it told me they would be back in a few minutes well guess what over an hour later no one had come back when I stepped out to see how much longer it would be I was told it would be a couple more hours screw that I would rather drive to Morganton where at least they give a damn
The staff, medical professionals, and Mission McDowell in general were amazing today. The facility is very nice! The only thing that could be better is the surgical registration desk was extremely close to the sitting area. Privacy could be a concern for certain people. The doors are behind the employee rather than in front like outpatient registration.
It's awful the way McDowell hospital does you if you don't have health insurance or no money I went to er last night cause I'm really sick and didn't have ins.or money to go see doctor but I get at er they ask me for 859.00 to pay that night heck if I had that much money I woulded went to doctor but as soon as they seen I didn't have no health insurance or no money I was sent on my way I was....
Worst hospital ever. I had my aunt there and they treated her like she was crazy and when I stepped out of the room to take a phone call they asked her if I was on drugs. Made me mad. The nurses and Dr was so smart with me. They would even answer none of my questions. Worst hospital ever
It's bad enough when having a very ill kid but to have a nurse talk about him, make fun of him making him cry, not only to him but in front of his principal, his teacher, family and everyone in the emergency room screaming and yelling is about as low and sickening as one can be, let alone to be working in health care! The charge nurse, administrator and several employees also knew! I will NOT stop with this one!
