Today was the worst day I've had here. Have to say quite a difference in staff/care from ICU....felt not ready to be released nauseous as hell not even been gotten up to walk. But that's OK let's send you home anyway. Weekend Dr...not impressed. Dr.Fields, Michael supervisor n nursing staff of ICU 2 thumbs up.
I am giving this hospital 3 stars solely based on the staff. I had a hysterectomy in August of 2016 and from the time I arrived that morning until the time I left that evening, the staff was very caring. I would have given them 5 stars if they hadn't LOST my organs as they were supposed to be sent to a lab for testing but instead the lab received an EMPTY box. I had to visit McDowell Urgent Care yesterday, and the care was excellent! All the staff, including front and clinical were awesome. Thank you for being so patient with me going back and forth to the restroom, while trying to provide care. The doctor even called me personally with test results later that afternoon. I am feeling much better today, and I cannot thank the staff enough for taking such great care of me.
I have had to have surgery 2 different times in the last month and a half and I must say that all the staff are wonderful. The surgeon is very nice and the operating staff and nurses are very informative and super nice. You could not ask for a better experience.
Went to the urgent care Thurs evening over severe chest pain. Had a few tests done that evening, and a couple the next morning before admitting to the ER for immediate gall bladder surgery. So far the staff has gone to great lengths to assure my comfort while I've been here. Dr. Lowe has been a wonderful doctor and surgeon. I also want to thank Carrie, Terry Ann, Sara, and Kelly for all the help and support I needed to pull through
Excellent care. Great staff and I am on the mend because of the care I received.
