The food is decent, but don't expect the wait staff from Saint Elmo's or Mesh. With a 45 minute wait to be seated, we decided to get an appetizer (Sex on the Beach Oysters) and two drinks to occupy our wait. The wait staff was of no help as we stood in the midst of total chaos at the coffee and drink bar. By the time we received the drinks and Oysters, it was time to sit down and eat(48 minutes) at a communal table. Eating Brunch here is like ordering drinks at Scotty's during final 4 week. Very lively, but not for most 40+ ... read more

Business response:

We work hard to offer good food and friendly service, and our staff is always professional and ready to work when they get here. I’m sorry that we didn’t meet your expectations. Sundays do tend to get pretty hectic & we try to be accommodating by offering pastries, coffee & cocktails while customers wait. I hope you will give us another chance in the future.

I visited Milktooth several weeks ago because a friend wanted to meet there for breakfast. I had already previewed the menu online, and didn't see anything that sounded good to me. I wound up ordering something called the "Baby Bear." This consisted of ONE egg, TWO very small pieces of bacon, and THREE red grapes. This set me back a whomping $11. That had better have been a fresh Hipster egg. I'm glad others like it, but it's certainly not for me.

Business response:

We're sorry you had a bad experience Jay Howard Cook. We usually have the "Little Bear Plate" as an off-menu item for kids which always has 2 eggs (yes they are local & taste better!) bacon, Amelias toast/ jam and grapes. Its meant to be a smaller portion and we take great care with our ingredients which are local most of the time which means a higher price point. Our menu changes often so maybe there will be something you'll eventually like! Its always a good idea to check the website before coming in!

Since it opened, i've loved Milktooth. but no more. Yesterday, after a typical hour and a half wait, i was finally seated only to be treated rudely by the chef and wait staff. You see, I can't eat pork due to a religious dietary restriction. Normally this would be fine, I am usually able to avoid pork. Not at Milktooth. Their menu contains one chicken dish (which comes with pork sausage gravy), which they were out of, one lox dish, and one beef dish. the beef was a rib...Continue Reading

Loved the ham gravy and biscuits. The shrimp and Palm heart salad was fantastic. Don't skip the pastries and coffee.
