After living in Indianapolis for 37 years before moving the the northwest suberbs of Chicago, my wife and I returned to Indy for the 4th of July and to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary (7/5/01). We enjoyed a fabulous brunch here and honestly I can't remember a better breakfast type meal in Indy. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, food is creative and unique for foodies like us. Food wasn't very good but eh. Cold food and the music was so loud the waitress had to ask me for our orders twice. Well stick to Mass Ave much friendlier. (This is just our opinion)
Meh. Coffee was over-roasted (burnt)...not good when you're having just the espresso, maybe it is tolerable if you add sweet stuff. Service was mediocre as the wait staff was too good for us apparently. In the end, the food wasn't worth the wait, and I disliked the warring flavors of the waffle. Didn't live up to the hype for us: too pretentious, but no real quality to back it up.
Amazing!!! Finally got to eat there and cannot wait to go back!! Everything is so good! I would consider myself a picky eater but loved everything I had! Don't be intimidated by the menu just close your eyes and point because seriously whatever you pick will be great! especially loved the atmosphere! Also an extra thanks for being welcoming to two moms with two little babies!
Best, most amazing breakfast I've ever eaten. Dutch baby with figs and Meyer lemon sauce. Oh, my goodness. Light, fluffy Dutch baby with a perfect slightly tart sauce. Daughter had the popcorn grits and a latke. Everything is so flavorful and unique.

Your concerns have definitely been noted. Sometimes restaurants can have "off" days but I assure you that we are all very genuine over here and even though the atmosphere and service can feel very casual - the coffee program and menu items are more of a fine dining approach. We hate to hear that your experience made you feel unwelcome! I hope that you will consider coming back and giving us another try!
Loved the building. Would have never known that it was there as the sign was very small, obviously people know it is there as we had 30 minute wait for lunch during the week. The food was just ok, the prices were very high. Desserts were the best part. There is no waiting area, which is not good in cold weather.
