Overpriced garbage. – There is no reason to go to this place. Zero atmosphere, zero value, zero flavor. Mediocre service and rude staff. I'll never return.
Yummmmmmm – I absolutely LOVE this place. Great margaritas, love the fajitas (the vegie ones are packed w/ fresh squash), & the ceviche ROCKS! Definately worth the wait.
Heartburn City is right! – This place is a glorified Chevy's Mexican Restaurant. I don't claim to know much about Mexican food, only that I know it shouldn't give you heartburn. I Took my mom here for her birthday because a bunch of co-workers said it's rumored that Madonna had been there and the food was good. Heartburn City – The only thing positive about our meal was that we were seated promptly. Everything went downhill from there. I asked to see if they had Horchata (Sweetened Rice Water). Our waiter gave me this odd look and said no. Fine, great. But why the look? MEXICO CITY, Hello? Our waiter never returned, so we flag a busboy down, and ask if we can order appetizers. 15-20 min later, we get our appetizers, and the guy is gone again. We flag him down, asked to take our order. 3 Strikes – So I've been there 3 different times hoping that the last was just an off day. NOPE! Lunch or dinner -doesn't matter, it's NOT good. Service averaged on waiters not caring if you were there and hungry. Drinks were watered down. Food was SOO NOT GOOD. I got a tamale with NOTHING inside!! Is that right?!? Come on!!! With service and food being sub-par, never again.
Mexico City, Si! – Wow! Stumbled upon this restaurant on my way to a show at the Greek Theater. Trendy, nice place to see and be seen, plus the food is quite authentic! What a surprise! My drink was being filled constantly and the service was friendly. Was a tad bit loud, but I didn't feel it took away from the experience. The shredded beef burrito is waaaaay to big to eat alone, the sopes were extremely tasty as well. I say si, to Mexico City! I shall return!
ceviche yum – Ceviche plus cold Modelo is a perfect combo at this fun hip restraunt. good people watching and pretty good grub makes it a good place to live it up for dinner.
Organized Chaos – Some of the food is really quite good (yummy spinach enchiladas) and the margaritas are potent, but that doesn't make up for the surefire headache that is intrinsic to this dining experience. It's just too damn loud. Any restaurant that requires me to lose my voice in order to carry on a conversation with someone sitting right next to me isn't first in line for repeat business. This on top of the fact that they waiters can be very difficult to track down. Location isn't everything.
Better than Mexico? – Great margs! A little tight on a weekend but the service is good and the food is terrific!
