I received excellent care for my out patient surgery.
Absolutely the worst hospital I've ever had to deal with. It felt like I was in The Twilight Zone..it was unbelievable. From the unfriendly noncompassionate, incompetent staff to losing property..it goes on and on. I will say that the ICU was good, but the rooms on the floor-a living nightmare.
Say what you will about Memorial Hospital, but I have always had a good experience there. Yesterday, before my TEE procedure, I had a panic attack and the doctor held my hand and talked to me until I calmed down. The nurses were all super down to earth and one just made a follow-up call to see how I was doing and even joked with me about how much I hated the jelly stuff that numbs your throat - she remembered all the highlights of the appointment and that kind of made it personal, and awesome. My daddy has used memorial hospital for years, thanks to they're Staff I still have my daddy. Last Tuesday he had a stint out in to draw up an aneurism, only had one issue with ICU nurse. We were kept informed and comfortable while Dr. Vo did my daddy's surgery. The doctors at memorial are top notch and never can be repaid any amount of money that's worth my daddy's life I know they work long hours but I seen a lot of dedication and caring. Keep up the good work Memorial Hospital..
The staff was very very friendly. Doc Synder was amazing!! The room was a little out dated and dingy, needs a little improvement. Other than that it was pretty good.
The doctor told my husband that his failing kidney was not the source of his excruciating pain or the blood in his urine. He also said my husband was basically wasting his time being there since it was a holiday weekend so nothing would be done to help him before Tuesday. I feel sorry for the nurses because they were all wonderful but the actual doctors are selfish, rude, and completely unhelpful.
First of all,if your a patient there,the Food SUCKS. Its worse than dog food. And some of there nurses should loose there licenses. Its a bad hospital to go to. Send me to any other hospital but not there
I was in the hospital for 18 days. I had the best care. From the house Kepping, food service workers to all the health professionals that took care for me.
