I am very disgusted at the care my 80 year old mother received at this hospital. She was brought by ambulance last week with severe stomach pain. She was admitted and underwent testing to diagnose the cause of her pain. After undergoing to procedures, she was abruptly discharged on a Sunday, still having severe pain. We were not given any prescriptions for pain medications. We returned to the ER after several days of no pain relief, with my mother not being able to eat due to the continued pain and nausea. I have been here since Monday and not getting any better. Been poked for IV admit 10 times and they all blow up. I feel tortured and even had to complain this morning. Felt treated like a piece of meat. Still trying to figure out to get a new IV because i need yet another blood transfusion which this will be the 4th unit and not ever with ultrasound machine they could get it. My right arm is so bad that i can hardly move it. And they still can't figure out where I'm losing blood From.
Awful medical team and awful staff. Disgustingly dirty and unhelpful
I have been to Memorial Hospital 3625 University Blvd. S., Jacksonville, FL 32216 on several different occasions for my son, a 1 ½ year old’s breathing issues and always received amazing customer service until today unfortunately. The nurses in day stay were amazing. So kind and attentive. Ms. Richie was a great tech. Bo did a great job with my discharge. Chris was great for nights on the ball with my pain meds. She and all the nurses there were great. I have been a patient on 3central and did not have happy nurses who treated me not very nice refused to give me pain meds while I had 2 yes two kidney stones one on each side blocking and the 2 stents. The service here is the best..the nurses doctors, in fact the whole staff were very professional..the staff here work together as a team to accomplish the goal for each patient they come through those doors of this hospital. Last, the hospital customer service and patient relations are superb..I'm so glad I ended up here in my time of need.. thanks memorial hosptial of Jacksonville. .
