We have the unfortunate luck of living in an area where Republic is responsible for picking up our trash. Its a Friday in the middle of a very hot summer and yet AGAIN they have completely missed out house! Its after business hours so there is NO WAY to notify then to schedule a pick up and now we have to go all weekend with trash sitting out there in the hot sun. Republic services is a terrible and dishonest company! We have used them for over 30 years and they are taking advantage of us. We signed on at a certain price to take care of our apartment trash services for 3 years. after 1 1/2 years, our price has nearly doubled and we now pay $1000 dollars over the amount initially discussed. This is ridiculous. We also have to make sure we send a written notice of termination, have it certified, signed, and they have to receive it for the contract to end. I've been trying to get my recycling picked up for two weeks. They've had 4 missed pick-*** so far...lord know how many more broken promises and lies I'll need to deal with. I just need the services that I paid for rendered. So frustrating!

I want to know why they are charging me $264.00 to pick up our trash when they charge my neighbor $99.00. We have the exact same service. We both have a one of their trash cans with 1 pick up a week.I have tried calling them and they just do the run around and never give me an answer.Is anyone else paying that outrages amount for trash pickup?

Republic Services is charging excessive amounts for residential garbage pick- up. We were being charged $157.00 and our neighbors directly behind us their quarterly payment went from $63.00 to $67.00. Our neighbors in front of our home were almost being charged $200.00. This company needs a major investigation. When you call, they don't know what to say when you use the examples like I have provided here. We stopped our services months ago and have yet received our refund. Then we got a letter in the mail about our "credit".... read more

I live in *********** **. They got republic to do the towns trash more than a year ago. The 1st month was a headache we dealt with. Other parts had longer problems with no pickup. But now we haven't had our trash picked ** in a week and others parts of town are on week 2 or longer. They only allow 1 trash can but residents will have more with no pickups. Seems like this is an on going issue.

I paid the usual **** in February as billed. Next **** shouldve been due May but received in March saying due 4/9 which I assumed was an error & felt I did not owe until next month. Called and discussed which they said was due to original billing dates were wrong? Still same service period etc. which I disagreed with- theyre still requiring payments a month earlier than normal plus went up again on charges!! Terrible company. Recycling hasn't been picked up in over a month. I call and they say they'll be there the next day. Then they call and say it's delayed for another week. Cancelation coming soon.

You pay for no service from this rotten company. They have what appears to be no customer service. Basically just no service. After they raise your rates that's when they quit picking up. Avoid this so called company at all cost.
