I am a new customer of Republic Services; just a residential account with recycle and trash pickup on Mondays. After a very few weeks, they missed my Monday pickup...so I called CS on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and it's now Saturday and the trash bin is still sitting at the curb, full. You cannot reach anyone responsible at Republic. The apologies and promises of CS to schedule a pickup are useless. These people don't give a damn or they are incompetent!

I wish there was a zero star option. I have had nothing but issues with this company since I started using them. There is a constant increase in my bill. It started out between $60-$70 every 3 months, and before I knew it, it was over $100. Then I have to call and argue and get it fixed, but not before I get service interruption notices. If I could leave less than one star, I would. We had their service for a little over 2 years. The first 6 months wasn't too bad. From there, it was a disaster. We were missed, on average, once a month. Of course that involved a phone call to request a missed pick up. I work, on average, about 60 hours a week. Extortion at its finest. Since I started having my trashed picked up in 2015 by this company my quarterly fee has more than doubled. While that is bad in itself I have endured it. However the icing on the cake happened this week. I unknowingly missed a payment due to the quarterly business cycles. I got switched around and had my billing date wrong. Well I live in MA and am very disappointed with the reviews I see here. I have been a customer with Republic Services for 2 years and at first all was good. However, in the 2 years that I have been with them my bill has gone up by $70 per quarter and the service has gone down just as much. We had a missed pick up for our recycling on August 26th. I AM BEING FORCED TO LEAVE A STAR RATING. NOT FARE. THIS COMPANY DESERVES NO STARS, NOT EVEN A HALF ONE. After having their inept service for years, I cancelled in July 2019, shortly after paying my quarterly bill. Four months I have been a customer. Not once have I received services for my recycling. I have spent multiple hours on many occasions speaking with customer service to no avail. They have exclusive rights to the county I live in otherwise I would seek services else where.

Republic Services is a scam. They get prepaid for the collection period. Then they will regula miss collection half of the period, and recycles for the whole period. Then when one call to terminate the contract they will charge for taking back their containers. The costumer service agents are trained to act like they pretend to help you but in the end they will do nothing. I pay my trash bill yearly, however 6 months into the year Republic Services increased the rstes and sent me a bill. When i recieved the invoice i called to question the increase, thinking yearly rates were locked in price wise. I was told by a custmore service representative that they would take care of the difference. A month later i receive another invoive with a late fee.
