Sounds like Republic services has hit again. I cancelled my services for 08/01/2019 thru 10/31/2019 and they charged me $30.00 for the Trash can removal then add on 27.83 for the removal of our Yard waste container. the best part is they sent me an invoice saying i was late on m payment so i called and to find out they are charging me $40 dollars for the Gas surcharge for the 08/01/2019 thru 10/31/2019 for Services i already cancelled plus a $5.00 late fee.... :) i cancelled on 07-/23/2019 and its my fault they didnt send a ... read more

For about 2 months now they have missed the pick up day or even all together not picked up till the follow scheduled pick up day. Dogs have made a mess of the trash multiple times. I have filed missed pick up forms and called many times. They have put my account as "High Priority" but I think that's just customer service's way of attempting to make me feel better.

If I could give a negative number I would. Back in June I called Republic Services regarding my high bill. I said I was going to go elsewhere due to their $115 per quarter bill, when others were in the $80's range. They said they would reduce mine but didn't. I never received the promised new bill at a lower rate even after about a dozen calls over 3 weeks as they repeated their false promise, so I cancelled them and went with another company. They did not disclose they had 2 sizes of recycle bins when I set up service. After seeing neighbors had the smaller one, I requested the smaller one. They were very nice to say they could swap the larger one for the smaller one. What they didn't tell me was that there would be a charge for them to take the big one away and another charge to bring the small one. With additional fees, the total came to $100. They want me to pay over $64 for removing the containers when I cancelled my service two months ago. That's the same as an entire billing cycle. Not to mention the terrible service all the years I did business with them.

8-01-19 Ordered a 40 yard dumpster for 600 dollars. Received the dumpster a day early. Luckliy I noticed it was not a 40 yard it was in fact a 30 yard dumpster. No call no email to see if a smaller dumpster was okay or if I wanted to wait for a 40 to be available. I called 10am to get it cleared up and was told they had to send the complaint to the escalation department. I was told I would be contacted with in 24 hours. 4 days later still no call. To many miss pickup. To many promise to pickup the next. Ashes for a call back and that has not happened. It is now August and I’ve asked many times since June. My thrash been sitting on street curb since Wednesday 8/14 it is now 8/20. This is the 2nd time this has happened and RS waited until the next pickup is scheduled on Thursday. This means trash and recycling stay on street curb for 8 days. Paying for a service I’m not getting
