Canceled service effective 6/1/19. First final bill was for $60 and should have been $30. Waited for corrected bill as I did not trust the company. FINAL “corrected” bill received 7/26/19. They have missed our pick up date several times. This time they claimed they were having pick up issues. We called on Saturday morning and they said that it would be picked on Tuesday. Then we called again on Saturday and was told by Darleen that it would be picked up on Saturday (8/3/19) before 7pm. of course they never showed. Mine was not the only one that wasn't picked up by them in our development. I am not a customer. I was driving along Rt. 32 West in Maryland a little before 9:40 this morning (8/5/2019), and an 8ft 2 x 4 wooden beam with nails sticking out of one end flew off the top of a Republic dumpster and nearly hit my windshield. The guy kept driving, as if nothing happened. Going west, this was the first exit off 32 after the 97 on-ramp. I contacted Republic. They gave me a complaint # 84969128. I also emailed the local police in Anne Arundel County.

Never show up until I complain. When they most likely miss us again next week it’ll be five weeks in a row (keep in mind I’ve only had my service for five weeks). Continually, I have to reach out to get service. I don’t know what I’m paying for a this point and I would NEVER recommend this service to others.

Terrible service had set up services for trash pick up and they never showed. Called several times throughout the week and kept being promised it would get handled but it never did. When I requested to speak to a manager the customer service rep said he would then hung up and I never received a call.

I have used AAA Trash Removal, now called Republic Services, for over 25 years. There have been some ups and downs, but generally the service was reasonable. That is, up until the last two years. Trash service pick up is horrible. After calling and complaint about not getting pick up service, the supervisor told me there is nothing he can do about it, he didn’t have any drivers which is not my fault or concern. I called corporate office and complained and all they said is that they will be out today. They still didn’t come. Very unprofessional company. Never will I use them again or recommend their services.

Trash pickup services were average; they were not able to keep up after holidays or in bad weather and I would often have to wait two weeks for pick ups in those cases. The cost of their service is twice as much as my new service. My main complaint is with their customer service when I moved and discontinued my service. I kept receiving phone calls and e-mails for a past due bill. They have gone over 4 weeks without picking up my trash. They refuse to give refunds for that month and I continue calling my sales rep to cancel my service. I leave messages and they di not return my calls. Not to mention i had to call 3 times prior to get the sales rep. To call. She called 30 minutes before they closed for the day and i was unable to answer. Call back get the machine. Call the next day machine. Left a detailed message and still no returned call.
