Dear Medical City Dallas, The nearly 5 hours I spent in your emergency room were the worst of my life—not just because I was losing my first pregnancy to miscarriage—but because your staff and facilities were wholly inadequate provide actual care for someone in my situation. The staff at the hospital are very patient and knowledgeable and kind. We have been working with them for many years to keep David alive and well through a heart attack and a heart transplant surgery and his recovery through kidney stones and Gaul stones. They are our special Angels!
The staff tonight was smoking something. They all rude from the triage nurse to the pa that saw us. 3 hours later we still waiting to see the "doc". The ED is so small they keep everyone in the waiting room. The least a hospital can do is have enough staff, two RN and doc. Really. I don't know the purpose of the PA they keep asking the same questions the nurse already asked.
Last month I suffered a major heart attack and almost died... I'm on the transplant list..... I wish to thank all the nurses n drs... shulkin and shneider for helping me get to care I need.. my nurses.. Jennifer ashley..melody...christine.... n all the pca... thank u for getting me stable... thank u to Karla and gene for listening to my concerns... and using my solutions to change customer care... I'm alive because of the Power of Jesus... I'm at home because of the excellent care my body received.. :)
The nurse's are so sweet kind they know how to take care of you the doctors are nice that tell you what they're going to do I recommend this hospital to anybody
I usually don't write much on FB but I have to give much recognition to several women that took care of me as if they were my own family. I gave birth not so long ago and I was given the best care I could've received from "strangers". These women I had never seen before had the most caring touch , respect, great sense of humor, patience, and above all knowledge of how to treat a person and that can not be unrecognized. From my first meeting with my surgeon to my discharge from the hospital I can truly say I had a great experience at Medical City. I appreciated details being checked and double checked. I was astounded that everyone with whom I came in contact was upbeat and pleasant. I don't think I heard anyone gripe while I was there. My care was excellent, and explanations were complete. I particularly appreciated the pre-op class which told me what to expect - from check-in to discharge. My knee-replacement surgery was much less onerous... read more
