Not going to say I don’t recommend mclaren because the medical staff was great. But the cafeteria staff was so rude. Me and my fiancé were treated so badly by the cafeteria staff. Rolling their eyes and mumbling stuff under there breath. Then when you told them how rude it was they got argumentative about it. I can only imagine how many other people they treated rudely like this. I worked in customer service and I work in patient care now. I know that you should never ever treat anyone that way.

0 stars My 90 year old aunt with dementia was just at McLaren. They transferred her to a rehab facility without telling anyone in our family and then told us they didn’t know where she was sent. My cousin had to call rehab facilities in the area to locate her. McLaren is a joke. I definitely don’t recommend this place at all! Think twice before you leave your family members in their “care”.
I was a nurse here from 1973-1995. Loved working there. Miss my friends. Was a patient a few times and received excellent care.
Quick ED servive, nice doctors, caring nurses.
They told me that I had lung cancer and butchered me. Then told me I never had cancer. Should be easy to improve on that
close this hospital and have another hospital come in as Flint residents/county residents deserve better than the current day McLaren. Just my opinion based on actual past experiences.
