I had the worst experience with this establishment I currently own a Chevy cruze 2017. I had leased the car at the time and my air/AC unit was not working so I went to the dealership where I bought the car; asked them to fix my ac unit in my car. Long story short I went there five times and they still could not fix the problem, they asking me to pay and they never fixed the problem. I contacted fresh start to try to refinance my auto. I got an email from McCluskey Chevy, inc. I send them an application (which did not ask for a signature) just information on my vehicle, address, income, basic stuff. But, also my SS# ( which I should have left off). Never gave them approval to run my credit or signed anything. I also, told them my credit situation...they supposedly specialized in this area. They told us they were giving us $20,000 trade in on our 2020 Trax with only 14,000 miles, towards a 2020 new Traverse, last year's model, With 5000 miles on it. Priced at $32,000, they overcharged us by about $7000 dollars. When caught up in it they said they where only able to give us $14,500 for the Trax because the bank wouldn't go a loan with over $8,000 negitve equity. They are crooked thieves. These crooks put 5 hard inquires on my credit report. I have never even tried to get a car from them and they ran my credit 5 different times and then tried to say they didn't do it even though I have paperwork showing their name on it
Tried to return our 2021 vehicle the day after getting it and trade to something we wanted. I have never in my life had to deal with a company so DISHONEST!! I honestly wish I would have read the reviews on here before ever dealing with them. It's like we're all singing the same song with nothing being done about it. Glen S******* is a con man and it seems the con company is standing behind him. Don't ever do business with these people!! Ms. *****would not properly register and title her vehicle in the state in which she resides, therefore the lender would not fund the loan. Ms. ***** hid the vehicle for almost a year from our dealership, and even disabled the vehicle's OnStar capabilities so we could not locate the vehicle to retrieve our collateral. We have also given her a rental/loaner vehicle to drive. On November 29, 2019 I brought my 2018 Traverse to McCluskeys for service. The service techs were prompt and efficient in fixing the problem. When the service was complete, the tech told me to pick up my keys on the service floor at desk #7. I gathered my belongings and walked down the hall to the designated desk. We guarantee an approval, not delivery. It will always be up to a lender as to what the terms/conditions/stipulations/possible down payment and amount the approval is contingent upon/whether or not a co-signor might be needed, etc - not McCluskey. It will be up to the customer as to whether or not they can provide any of the above.
