Went in to make a CASH purchase, they tried to push FINANCING on me. It’s their job so I understand but still got a GREAT cash deal. What I DIDN’T appreciate was that they asked for my social so that they can “verify” the identity of the purchaser. I asked if it would put an inquiry on my credit, they said “no, it’s just to make sure it’s you buying it”. Little did they know I have credit monitoring and got ALERTED within MINUTES. They had no explanation when I told them about it.
