I just had surgery in Feb with Dr. Schultzel and I can say that he was helpful and full of advice on do's and don'ts as well as diet to plan with. The best Doctor and most experienced I have worked with in a long time concerning the issues I was going through with for a year after seeing doctor after doctor with no resolution. I appreciate the helpfulness and checking on me by the staff as well. A great doctor who sits pretty high with the knowledge and experience !!
I was extremely satisfied with Dr. Schultzel and his staff from getting the appointment, the first meeting with the doctor, the explanation of the procedure, and the follow up. Thoroughly professional. He didn't sugar coat the fact that my recovery from Hemorrhoidectomy would be painful.
Excellent Surgeon!!! Dr. Schultzel is very knowledgeable and professional, explains everything, including all the important "to-do's" to help speed recovery, is extremely understanding and provides outstanding care. Also, the staff he works with is extremely pleasant, efficient and caring. Highly recommend!!!

Dr. Schultzel is by far one of the best providers I have ever interacted with. Not only is he a great practitioner, he is incredibly personable, honest, and empathetic. Not enough room to give this Dr. his Dues I was fixed after 7 years of spinal blocks, Dr. after Dr. every kind of Dr. there could be seen until I saw Dr. Matthew M. Schultzel he saw me explained in plain words what he saw what he thought would help. Now I can walk again without pain. I am just so grateful to him. I can now have my quality of life back. He is one of the best in his field as far as I am concerned so nice and thoughtful. His office staff are great too. I would recommend him yes! l
Dr. Schultzel was fantastic. Up front and transparent about my surgery and did an excellent job. He didn't hide the fact that my recovery from a hemorrhoidectomy would be painful. This set my expectations and actually helped me cope with it. Everything from the pre-op visit to the surgery and post op went exactly as he explained. No complications and no issues at all.
