Dr. Schultzel preformed an emergency Ileostomy, Ileostomy Reversal and Hernia repair for me this year. He is extremely kind, comforting and compassionate and was able to help me through a very difficult health period in my life. I are very grateful to have had him preform his minimally invasive techniques on my abdomen leaving me almost no scaring. I'm well on my road to recovery and extremely grateful to him and his amazingly staff!

DO NOT LET THIS "Dr" TOUCH YOU! He is awful! I have never had such a terrible experience with a Dr ever! I was in the E.R so I had no choice but if you do, ask for another Dr. During a simple appendectomy he sliced open my abdominal wall and caused me a painful hernia. Several of my friends are physicians and told me he made a huge mistake. His office staff will not return my calls. I have since had the painful hernia repaired. There are plenty of great Drs in S.D. he is not one of them.

Dr. Schueltzel was considerate and attentive to my needs both in preparing me for surgery and through the entire procedure including follow-up.

I had a partial colon removal with Dr. Schultzel in March. He explained the surgery and testing and recovery. The surgery went well and because of the pain control methods he uses and minimally invasive surgery I was able to go home in two days. I was comfortable with him and he was very good about answering questions. His office staff were friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Dr. Schultzel.

Going to Dr. Schultzel was a seriously awesome experience. He has amazing bedside manner and not only was extremely thorough and well organzied but just very compassionate and kind. He answered all of my questions completely and honestly. I went to Dr. S for an unplanned emergency surgery and was extremely nervous. Dr. S was very sweet and handled a very stressful situation in a very professional and comforting manner. I appreciate all of his efforts. He is such a great doctor!
