I cannot sing Dr. Schultzel's praises enough! I had a bowel resection surgery in November of 2018. Not only were he and his office INCREDIBLE during the pre-op, preparation, and post-op phases, but he's an EXCELLENT surgeon! He truly cares about your well-being and recovery. There are not enough words to convey my gratitude for Doctor Schutzel. In December of 2017 I was diagnosed with colorectal cancer and was referred to him by one of his colleagues who said, he was one of the best in the country. From the first time my husband and I met him we know he was the right surgeon for me. I visited Dr Schultzel after going to many other colorectal doctors for my uncle. Dr Schultzel not only explained the procedure, but answered many questions other doctors didn’t or couldn’t answer. His bedside manner was also impressive. Talking with care and taking his time. Thank you for taking such great care of my uncle!
I just had surgery in Feb with Dr. Schultzel and I can say that he was helpful and full of advice on do's and don'ts as well as diet to plan with. The best Doctor and most experienced I have worked with in a long time concerning the issues I was going through with for a year after seeing doctor after doctor with no resolution. I appreciate the helpfulness and checking on me by the staff as well. A great doctor who sits pretty high with the knowledge and experience !!
I was extremely satisfied with Dr. Schultzel and his staff from getting the appointment, the first meeting with the doctor, the explanation of the procedure, and the follow up. Thoroughly professional. He didn't sugar coat the fact that my recovery from Hemorrhoidectomy would be painful.
Excellent Surgeon!!! Dr. Schultzel is very knowledgeable and professional, explains everything, including all the important "to-do's" to help speed recovery, is extremely understanding and provides outstanding care. Also, the staff he works with is extremely pleasant, efficient and caring. Highly recommend!!!

Dr. Schultzel is by far one of the best providers I have ever interacted with. Not only is he a great practitioner, he is incredibly personable, honest, and empathetic.
