I do for some things . I worked at Shock Trama in MD and I know more than some of the doctors at MMH. Brought a friend to the hospital and I said I think he has CHF they said oh no . After testing the dr came in and said I have results not real bad news but you have CHF . His B/P was 194/84 and they sent him home with a 10mg pill for high blood pressure and sent him home! Only a Mickey Mouse Hospital would do that.
Was there for over 4 hours and doctor Brandon Roberts didn’t even come in at all! Signed myself out and left!
Was just called 3 hours before a procedure that was scheduled for over a week and a half ago, and told it was canceled. While the woman I spoke to on the phone was very sweet (the only positive in this situation )the reason I was given was because the regular tech who read my results was not there today. The tech who was in felt that since I had my prior testing done in Potsdam that I needed to see them for my biopsy and canceled yesterday procedure and rescheduled it for there. Very unprofessional!
RecommendedI am forever grateful for the OR staff, phlebotomists, anesthesiologist, labor and delivery nurses who went above and beyond especially Katie and Alicia, but most importantly to Dr. Greenberg who literally saved my life. Even though this was supposed to be one of the happiest times in my life it went quickly to the scariest moment of my life and without everyone I don’t know I would have made it through. Just recently had my son here, maternity nurses were AMAZING I was there for 6 days and everyone was so helpful shout out to Kara as well as she was there for me through really everything the entire time even as far as being in the OR room with me when I had to have a csection! Also shout out to Dr Greenberg very helpful & nice man for being as busy as he is! Thank you!!
Massena hospital has very caring nurses, doctors, nursing assistants, aides, dietitians and staff. I just had to have my gallbladder out yesterday and had to stay the night and i couldn’t ask for better service. Everyone was great that treated me from the moment i walked thru the doors until being discharged today. I for one am glad we have a small town hospital we can go to. Thank you MMH!

the wait is absoloutly rediculous.people are leaving and havent even been seen yet because they sat 3 hours without a doctor
i should know better by now then to go to Massena. Go in for falling and cutting my head open and neck pain and leave without even seeing a Dr! I got to see a nurse practitioner her name was Rita Curran (ONCE) who puts me in tears calling me a liar about where im hurting dismisses everything i tell her is going on since i hit my head and whiplashed my neck, and then sends a RN to just discharges me with a sinus infection without telling me anything about my scan, aftercare (for the open wound on my head), nothing!🤔🤔🤔 Anyo... read more
