My mother has been shipped from Western Mass to Worcester in hopes of getting her blood restored due to a diagnoses of TTP (Thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura) ... Doctors & Nurses worked around the clock to make sure her health was a Priority on her arrival . Procedures moving swiftly and efficiently . Three hours sitting in a chair with back pain and have not even seen a doctor but signed all the papers so they can bill Medicare and blue cross blue shield
So, i'm going on hour 7 of waiting in the ER. Staff are unprofessional, waiting room is dirty and SEVEN HOURS! Avoid this hospital!!!
The would rather you die waiting in the emergency room rather than helping patients it’s a messed up sad world we live in where hospitals have to security guards cause the demand for care is not met by the largest hospital in the city! I’m sick and being yelled at and kicked around as if I’m in Guantanamo bay with no green card and a terrorist plot. Treat people like you would to be treated we are people not numbers!
Recently delivered a baby here and she had to go to the NICU for a few days. The level of compassion and care from the nurses in the NICU and the maternity ward was amazing. Not just for my little girl but for me as well. I was accommodated for every need that I had, and help was always readily available and continually offered. Overall it was a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend to anybody having a baby.
The wait times to see a doctor are incredibly horrible.
Rude providers, uncaring attitudes at University campus
I would stay away if you have something serious and are not familiar with medical stuff or procedures. I had an abnormal influenza come back on my throat culture and they prescribed the incorrect antibiotic. when my PCP urgent care discoveres they were shocked that they did not know the correct antibiotic and prescribed the correct antibiotic. when I called to inform them of the error the lady who answered the phone was nice until I told her their error. Absolutely disgusting ER. There was dried blood all over the trash can. Extremely dirty. I filed a complaint and they wrote a letter back saying they didn’t find anything wrong with their care! Scary to think they don’t take that seriously !
