If you want to be left with a 101.3 temp and dehydrated in a waiting room for 3 hours then I would recommend this er! I’m sure people love to have a nurse tell them “it’s not my problem” when your left in this condition in a hospital waiting room!! Quality of care has went down hill considerably.. ER nurses are rude with no bedside manner tonight!!
I am very great full for the staff especially the nurses and doctors who work on me while I was in the hospital for a heart attack the cardiac step down unit was fantastic. I really feel that the care I received was the best service anywhere. Thank you for saving my life
So. My sister Windy Alma had her baby at UMass Medical in Worcester. And she had the most amazing, compassionate, down to earth, beautiful nurse that I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. This woman stayed I believe it was almost 7 or 8 hours after her shift to stay with Windy through the entire labor. She went so above and beyond it wasn’t even funny. When any family member, nevermind a pregnant woman who has only gone home in the best interests of her unborn child, calls for an update they deserve respect. I just received "yeah yeah yeah" after pointing out it has been over three hours since a loved one was brought in for a potential brain bleed after a fall.
They are very pleasant and helpful

I must say, the wait time was short and the nurses were fabulous. The doctors however took forever getting back into our room with discharge papers. I reminded them five times within a two hour period. There was only one other patient in ALL the PEDI ER rooms. Only to have one of the nurses openly admit that they forgot. I did find three doctors in a room on their cell phones all laughing at whatever was funny in the moment instead of discharging any of the patients that had been sitting there for hours like my son and mysel... read more
I was a patient for a PFO Closure this week; my procedure was performed by Dr. Daniel Fisher. Everyone that I came in contact with gave me excellent care and made me feel safe and in good hands. All of my appts leading up to the decision to have this procedure with the hope of preventing a future stroke were also excellent and thorough. I would not hesitate to recommend this hospital to anyone in need of quality medical care.
