PCA's in the trauma ER are horrendous. Their people skills need serious tweaking, constantly openly gossiping about each other in front of patients, playing on their cell phones when they should be tending to patients, 1 man in particular was very rough and careless. Didn't catch his name. Trauma nurses are rude and uncaring.
Stay away from this hospital. My son was a patient there for 5 days in the psychiatric unit. On the first day he was assaulted by another patient in the day room. No staff was present to stop the assault right away. I saw a nurse swearing at a patient on one of my visits. Unprofessional and one of the worst hospital experiences ever. If you're looking for help, don't come here.

the staff clearly doesnt care. try and get an answer. they messed up the coding for my surgery now i have thousands of dollars to pay out. prob over 40 hours trying to fix their mistakes.

I have had two experiences at the breast center on the memorial campus and I just want to say a big thank you to the nurse that works there. Her name is Maria. She made me so at ease when my nerves were at their worst. The pain was bad but her comforting presence made it bearable. She is a godsend to patients like me who face a possibly scary diagnosis. I went there not feeling very strong and thanks to her I left there feeling like I got this.
Worst experience ever!! Staff members have no type of sympathy to family members. They give people dirty looks and act very disrespectful to visitors. Worse place ever. I felt like I was visiting a jail instead of a hospital. People should be treated kindly specially if their loved one is hospitalized fighting to stay alive.
