I am always satisfied and well taken care of at Dr Ikas office on Lincoln street . Debbie and Donna are amazing staff that are always willing to help and get their patients what they need no matter if they are on vacation in another state or not . I am always happy with this office .
A bad fall, head injury, complex medical history including cancer and stroke and the ED doesn’t even do a neuro status exam?? Head CT and you’re on your way! Pretty quick to call NEXT DAY for my $200 Insurance copay though....
This hospital experience for my daughter and i has been one to make us never want to go to a hospital ever again. My daughter was transferred from another facility and we sat in the ER for 11 hours before getting a room upstairs. Before getting the room no one communicated anything, no one checked in and no one conveyed any type of comfort what so ever. Absolutely not. I was checked in, waited 6 hours to be seen while in significant pain and bleeding. When I was finally seen by a doctor he looked At my thumb for maybe 60 seconds and said they would need to call the hand surgeon. I waited for another hour at which the hand surgeon looked at it for about 60 seconds and said that there was nothing they could do. I then received a 2200$ bill for the “treatment” they provided.
3 hrs in a waiting room is not efficient. It's an emergency room you would think they could have more doctors with all the useless employees standings around doing nothing. just from the people working in triage the bedside manner in this place is horrible.
Amazing palliative care for my grandfather in the West building. Mindful, compassionate and professional. Truly grateful for the care my grandfather is receiving!
I see Dr. Carolina Ionete at the UMASS MS Center. I met her when a research study that8 had begun at Strong Hospital in Rochester,NY was transferred to UMASS: when my family move to Massachusetts 2008. Dr. Ionete is extremely knowledgeable and VERY kind. I have been in Dr. Ionete’s care for a number of years and I completely trust her. My family relocated to Indiana between 2013 & 2016.
